My Camera

Me and Abs

Abby and I were out for a walk the other night and it was so mild that I decided to pull the camera out. You see there is a direct relation between warm weather and photo taking for me. I’m continually snapping all summer long but when fall comes my camera seems to go into hibernation. I’ve decided that’s going to come to an end because you know what, fall is awesome too and it deserves to be included in some photos!

Polaroid Instant Camera

Fujifilm Instax Instant Camera

Good news for those of you that love the novelty and nostalgia of the instant camera. Thanks to “The Impossible Project“, who’s mission is to re-invent and re-start production of analog film for vintage instant cameras, Polaroid has announced that they’ll be relaunching their “One Step” sometime in early 2010 – they’ll even be producing limited editions!

Soon after Polaroid announced the discontinuation of their instant film in 2008, Fuji launched a line of four different instant film cameras. I have yet to test any of these out due to the aesthetic of the camera – it’s gotta look good you know!

I’m a little disappointed that these won’t be out in time for Christmas….would have been a fun family gift!
